The description
This product is a cup of tomato and cheese flavored instant noodles from Aeon supermarket's Top Valu store brand. They were priced at 213 yen including tax.
The good
This cup noodle offering from Aeon's Top Valu store brand is a nice one if you're looking for something that feels a bit more Western in terms of its taste profile. The soup base has a creamy feel to it with the zingy hint of tomato, and the toppings include egg pieces, meat, and green onions. One thing I found interesting about this product (and I thought was a good thing!) is that they're protein-packed noodles, with the serving having 15 grams of protein. I haven't really compared that to your average cup noodle offering, but it's something I would like to see more of!
The not so good
For a store branded product these were priced a little higher than some of the other Top Valu cup noodle offerings, but I think that might be to do with the fact that they are a limited-time flavor and have the benefit of the added protein. Overall though, I'd say these are good if you have more of a Western-flavor appreciating palate and don't really care for things like fishy flavored cup noodles. The price isn't bad either, really, and they are quite filling. Keep an eye out for them at your nearest Aeon supermarket if they sound appealing to you -- happy eating, and enjoy!
