The description

This product is one of four Cherry Blossom Mochi Donuts available from Mister Donut stores right now - this one is the Spring Strawberry Whipped Daifuku Style.

The good

This is the fourth and final donut from Misdo's sakura-themed range for 2026, and it also has quite a bit going on with it. The cherry blossom-flavored dough comes topped with strawberry whipped cream, and is then coated in strawberry chocolate, and finished with a dusting of sugar. The whole intent with this one was to create a donut that looks and tastes just like a whipped cream mochi, and I think they did a pretty decent job of that in donut form. Price-wise, I feel like it's pretty reasonable at 220 yen for eat-in (a little cheaper for to-go!) given how involved of a donut it is.

The not so good

Of the four donuts, this one is the messiest to eat. If that's something you're considering, I would opt for one of the other three alternatives that are available. That small point aside, this is a really delicious donut if you like the combination of strawberry and sakura flavored things. It is only a limited time offering, which is always a bit of a downside if you find yourself really liking it, but Misdo is pretty great about releasing fun, seasonal treats for various occasions throughout the year. If this donut sounds like a must-try item for you, be sure to head in to your nearest Misdo store sooner rather than later. Happy eating, and enjoy! :)
