This muffin is a nice option for a quick snack or sweet treat, and it has a few different components -- so it's great for anyone who appreciates varied flavors and textures in their muffins of choice. It's made with fresh bananas, comes topped with sliced ​​almonds and chocolate chips, and is then filled with a milky whipped cream...so there's definitely quite a bit going on with it, but it works. It's a decent portion size (what I call the Goldilocks element...not too big, yet not too small) and I think the price isn't bad at only 168 yen including tax.

I often lament that I don't have an oven here, because I feel like these muffins would be fairly easy to replicate at home, and if you made a bulk batch they'd be way cheaper than 168 yen a piece. I know a lot of people bake using their little toaster ovens, and I really ought to look into that, but I just miss the days of a big oven where you could bake 12 or so big-sized muffins at once. All that to say, this is still a tasty option and not the worst price-wise, but if you have the capacity to bake for yourself here, I'm sure you could easily put together something similar at a fraction of the cost per serving.
