At this time of year, the drier air tends to mean I also get a dry throat, and having hard candies or lozenges on hand helps to alleviate that to a degree. I got these manuka honey candies from Kaldi Coffee Farm recently, and they're a nice alternative to medicated cough drops. They contain actual manuka honey from New Zealand which is known for its antibacterial properties, and they have quite a mild and pleasant flavor. Because they're individually wrapped, it's easy to just stash a few in your bag for when you're out and about.

These are a bit more expensive than most other similarly-sized packs of hard candies, but I do think that manuka honey is seen as a premium ingredient which probably impacts the price point. In saying that, I like these a lot, and the very natural ingredients list (just sugar, water, salt, and honey) means that they're great if you're looking for a lozenge/cough drop without a ton of additives or colors. Not sure if they are a winter limited product or they're available year round, but keep an eye out for them if you're looking for a nice and natural cough drop option.
