For starters, I feel like these Adidas sneakers are so much cheaper here in Japan than what I'd ever seen for brand name shoes in my home country. If I was still living in Australia I'd anticipate having to pay closer to $100 AUD for something like this, and since the Australian dollar and the yen are basically on par at the moment you can see how that's a huge saving! I like that the colorway for these is fairly neutral, with a predominantly grey color with some neon green/blues thrown in for the Adidas stripes. They're a nice looking kids shoe. My son enjoys them from a comfort level, so no issues there.

Honestly, I don't really have anything to complain about for these. The price feels very reasonable for brand name shoes, and my son likes how comfy they are. They're also velcro closure (should've mentioned that above!) so they're even suitable for littler children who haven't yet learned to tie their shoelaces. I'd keep an eye on Amazon, though, as sometimes the prices for these fluctuate a little. You can typically get a better deal if you watch the pricing and buy them when they're at a lower point :)
