If you or someone in your household is a fan of all things Super Mario related, this new Lego set is fun and reasonable on the wallet, coming in at just under 2000 yen. It's a fairly quick build with only 133 pieces, but it can be used with other items in the interactive Super Mario Lego range to make it a bit more interesting with play. One thing I really appreciate about Lego is that they've moved to paper-based bags for the pieces inside the boxes instead of plastic bags that they've used in the past. Such a great step to see a large company taking that initiative!

If you're looking for a set that is going to occupy your kiddo for more than about 20 minutes, this really isn't the set for that -- it was a pretty quick build for my son, but being able to use it alongside other sets from the Super Mario range does mean it's something you can play with for a bit longer. Overall though, it's still a really fun set for the Mario fans out there, and coming in at under 2000 yen means it's a nice option that won't really break the bank. Good for a special occasion, or just as something to keep your kiddo occupied for a bit while inside on hot days this summer. Happy building! :)
