Another excellent value cup noodle with generous toppings

Often with store branded products, you expect (or at least, I expect) them to be stingier with toppings/flavorings -- after all, how do they end up cutting a profit otherwise? I'm so pleased that isn't the case though with these Top Valu brand noodles from Aeon, which are actually some of the most generously topped cup noodles out there. This one is a chicken stock and soy sauce flavored option, and the toppings are beef pieces, egg pieces, shrimp, and green onions -- and as you can see they don't skimp on them at all. The broth is quite light and fresh tasting, too, if that's something you take into consideration.

This is branded as a chicken and soy sauce offering but there are shrimp in it, so if you have any seafood allergies just be aware of that -- if you weren't really paying attention to the ingredients list it's very likely you could grab this assuming it was seafood-free. Overall though, the price is fantastic for these and the generous toppings make that feel even more so. Don't knock the store brands -- they taste delish and they really do help save on the household budget a bit. Hope you enjoy it if you do end up giving it a try -- happy eating!
