Japan's heat illness prevention site
If you've often seen information about "heatstroke alerts" in the news but you're wondering how you can stay on top of that information for your prefecture, the Heat Illness Prevention Information site is here (in English).
It gets updated at 2pm each day for the following day, with a color-coded map of the country indicating which areas are under heatstroke warning, and which have a WGBT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) of over 31C for the day.

I think it's a helpful site to have bookmarked at this time of year. I check it daily, so I can map out my day ahead as best as I can!
