The description

This product is a wash-off Uji matcha face mask from the Wafood/PDC brand. I ordered it online from Amazon Japan (you may be able to find it elsewhere, though!) and it was priced at 1320 yen.

The good

This is an interesting format for a face mask -- it comes in a squeezie pouch style format (not unlike some baby foods or kids yogurt packs), which is actually quite convenient. It makes it very easy to dispense and re-seal, since the pack has enough for several mask applications. The smell of matcha is quite noticeable with the product, but I liked that about it. The mask is a paste-like consistency, and you just apply it, wait a few minutes, and wash it off. Nice and simple, and I did feel like it made my pores look noticeable smaller afterwards.

The not so good

This mask does have a fairly noticeable smell -- I liked it, but if you're very sensitive to strong scents (or just prefer your skincare products to be unscented) then I wouldn't recommend this one to you. Overall though, I liked this product -- I thought it was quintessentially Japanese, too, so it could also be good if you're sending care packages back home to skincare loving friends and family. It's not too heavy, either, which is nice for shipping fees. Hope that if you try it, it works well for you!
