Stationery is one of my biggest weaknesses, and I think sticky notes are one item I justify as I tell myself they keep me more organized ;) These packets from Daiso are a little unique compared to your standard sticky notes, since they have a translucent finish and they also have rounded edges as opposed to usual squared off ones. I use these for a range of purposes, but as the packaging mentions, they're really useful for when you need to see text or images below your sticky note. For that reason, I think they'd be absolutely fabulous for students! These would have been a godsend back in my university days.

While I loved the translucent finish to these sticky notes, I have to imagine they wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea -- I think a lot of folks would prefer opaque sticky notes. Never fear though, because if that's the case for you there's no shortage of other options to choose from at Daiso (or any other 100 yen store for that matter!) Overall, I really enjoyed these. The colors are fun, the price is right at only 100 yen plus tax, and I do think the translucent component is very useful if you need to see underneath what you're writing. Keep an eye out for them at your nearest Daiso store if they could be useful for you! :)
