Japan named one of the world's best places to live for design lovers by Architectural Digest

One thing I've truly come to appreciate over my years here is the amazing architecture and design found across the country. There are so many incredible examples, both traditional and modern, which is probably why Japan was named one of the world's best places to live for design lovers by Architectural Digest. I thought this was a really cool accolade!

Something that the Architectural Digest article noted (and something that I wasn't aware of!) was that despite having a smaller population and economy than the United States, Japan has three UNESCO Cities of Design. In comparison, the US has only one.

The three spots in Japan are Kobe, Asahikawa, and Nagoya if you needed a place to plan a visit!
