Soup at Starbucks
I don't typically associate Starbucks with soups, mainly with caffeinated hot drinks and tasty seasonal frappuccinos. However, they've gone out on a limb as we hit the cooler weather with their Truffle Soupuccino. My husband and I got one to split today, mainly out of the sake of curiosity, and it was...okay. If you like mushrooms you might like it (the main base of it contains three types of mushrooms) and there's also a hint of both bacon and truffle flavors.

What I wasn't the biggest fan of was it being served in a latte cup and also having the foamy, cappuccino-esque froth on the top. I mean, I guess that's why they named it the Truffle Soupuccino, but my brain was doing some mental gymnastics trying to wrap my head around it.
Honestly, if I hadn't tried it myself I'd have thought it was some kind of weird April Fools' Day (albeit not in April) prank.
