There's not much better (in my opinion!) than a chocolate tart that's done well, and this one from Lawson's Uchi Cafe sweets range hits the spot. The chocolate part has a rich, gooey, indulgent taste and texture, and the pie crust was delicious as well – buttery, but still with a nice crispness to it. I felt the presentation was good, and the price was about where I would have expected it -- I wouldn't say it was a bargain, but it wasn't exorbitant either. Decent value for money overall, and a great tasting product, so it's a solid choice for the chocolate lovers out there.

I do think there are plenty of cheaper chocolate desserts out there, so if you're not really fussy about your sweet of choice then you can get your chocolate fix in more economical ways. In saying that, I would happily recommend this to any tart lovers out there -- it's a rich and indulgent dessert that I would be happy to buy again. I'm not sure how long it's set to be available for, so if it sounds good to you I'd suggest checking for it at your local Lawson while you can. Happy eating, and enjoy!
