The chocolate and strawberry combo has been seemingly everywhere over the last few months, or at least it feels that way to me! The Ghana chocolate brand has also hopped on the trend with these premium chocolate whips in a strawberry and raspberry flavor, and they have quite a few good things going for them! The first is that each chocolate is individually wrapped inside the box, making them easy for sharing or not going completely ham and overindulging. The filling itself is made of Amaou strawberries and raspberries from Fukuoka Prefecture, and I always appreciate getting to know more about regional specialties through convenience store snacks! The taste is excellent, with the outer chocolate feeling super smooth, and the inner filling adding a nice sweet-yet-sour flavor.

As I mentioned above, each chocolate is individually wrapped. Love that for convenience, but hate it for the single use plasticky-foil that they are wrapped in. Not great for the environment! Also, these are more expensive convenience store chocolates, but I do think they both present themselves and taste like a more premium product. Overall, a solid option from the Ghana/Lotte brand, and I would still recommend them to anyone who likes fruity fillings in their chocolates of choice.
