The Hot Dog Classic American is a good option when you want something quick and filling. The sausage is juicy, and the roasted onions add a bit of sweetness that goes well with the meat. I liked the pickles, too, as they give it a nice tang and stop the whole thing from feeling too heavy. The bun is quite chewy, which makes it feel more substantial than your average hot dog. Also, at 380 yen, it's also pretty reasonably priced for a quick lunch or snack. It's nothing fancy, but if you're in the mood for a hot dog, this one does the job!

My main issue with the Hot Dog Classic American is the bun. It's quite firm and chewy, so it takes a bit more effort to bite through than other ones I've tried in my life. The sausage, onions and pickles all work together, though I can imagine that fans of really loaded hot dogs might want a bit more. At 380 yen, the price is fair enough, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get one. It's a decent hot dog for when you're hungry, just not one that I'd be thinking about for very long afterwards.
