If you like the pairing of fruity flavors with chocolate, then sachertorte is a cake that you're likely to enjoy! It combines chocolate cake with apricot jam, and originates from Vienna in Austria. This sachertorte from Tully's feels like it has a balanced level of sweetness, and it presents quite nicely as well with a drizzle of white chocolate on top. Portion wise, it's not as big as some other cake slices around that price range, but I actually think that can be a benefit depending on your mindset!

I would say that I found this to be just okay. I feel like I always go into the chocolate and apricot flavor pairing thinking I'm going to enjoy it more than I actually do...I think maybe I just prefer different fruit flavors to go with my chocolate desserts. Also, I do think if you're after quantity then this dessert might feel a little small for the price, which does factor in to the value for money aspect.
