This packet of stir-fried mapo eggplant sauce makes for a really easy meal that comes together super quickly, since all you need to do is add stir-fried eggplant and some colored peppers. The sauce has meat in it already, so it feels like a complete meal -- you can always add things like rice or some noodles to bulk it up a bit as well. I found the spice level of this to be good -- it definitely has a kick, but not overpoweringly so. I'd definitely buy it again for nights where we need a quick and easy meal.

If you have a larger family you'll definitely want to get a couple of packets of this -- I'd say that one packet yields enough for two small(ish) sized adult servings. Two packets were enough for our family, since my two kids didn't eat as much as my husband and I did. Overall though, this was a solidly tasty and quick to prepare product, and it's a great way of getting some veggies in for the folks in your life that aren't really huge veggie fans. I'd happily buy this one again in the future if it's still available!
