I feel like on a global perspective, most people know a couple of the major animals from my home country -- namely kangaroos and koalas. One that perhaps isn't as well known is the quokka, a super cute marsupial native to the southwestern part of the country. I was surprised (in a good way!) to see these origami paper sheets at Seria recently, featuring illustrated images of this Aussie fave. Each packet comes with 36 sheets of paper in three different designs (you get twelve pieces of each), and for the price of 100 yen plus tax I think that's a pretty good deal!

These are super cute, but quite niche -- they're probably not as versatile as your average single color or patterned origami paper. In saying that, if you are looking for something cute then this fits the bill well for that! Also, the back side of each is a solid color, so there's that going for it! Overall though, super cute if you like all things kawaii, and maybe if you're a fellow Australian like me you'll get a kick out of these! Keep an eye out for them at your local Seria store if they look good/fun to you.
