If you're looking for a sweet treat other than the standard McDonalds apple pie, this limited-time cookies and cream option makes for an indulgent-tasting dessert. This pie comes filled with a white chocolate flavored cream, chocolate cookie pieces (Oreo-style) and crushed corn for some added texture -- interesting choice, in my opinion! Taste-wise it's yummy, and I think the price feels pretty reasonable as well. Most desserts I see at convenience stores these days are priced higher than this, so I'm always pleased when something comes in at under 200 yen. The packaging is cute, too!

I don't know that the addition of crushed corn to the pie filling was really necessary -- I felt like there would have been enough crunch coming from the chocolate cookie pieces, but that's just my two cents! Overall, this is a tasty and reasonably priced dessert option that also has really cute packaging. Because it's a limited time only offering, if you find yourself really liking it you've only got a short window of time to enjoy it -- and that's obviously a bit of a downside!
