The description

This product is a Chocolate French Caramel Praline Donut, and it's a limited-time collaboration offering between Mister Donut and Godiva. It was priced at 297 yen for eat-in, slightly cheaper for to-go.

The good

This Chocolate French Caramel Praline Donut is great for anyone out there who loves the choc-caramel flavor combo. The chocolate donut base is basically a "sandwich" which contains a filling of caramel cream and praline whipped cream, and then the whole thing is coated in cocoa powder and a chocolate drizzle. I really liked that the cream fillings were something different than chocolate-flavored ones, since I feel like it makes the whole dessert feel more balanced. This is also one of the cheaper donuts in this Misdo x Godiva collaboration range, so if you're wanting to try one that comes in under 300 yen, this is one of two options to pick from.

The not so good

Although this donut is super delicious, it's rather messy to eat because of the cocoa powder coating. I wish they'd just left it with the chocolate drizzle on top rather than going the cocoa powder route, but I'm sure some people really like that aspect of it. Overall though, still a super yummy donut, just beware that it can be a little messy to eat! If it sounds like a must try item to you, I would recommend heading in to your nearest Mister Donut store soon -- I'm not sure exactly how long this collab range will be available for, but my guess would be only a couple of weeks. Happy eating! :)
