Nuclear power is back off...

I've written a couple of times on here about recent concerns I've had about the reopening of the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa nuclear power plant out here in Niigata. There were the initial concerns, which were followed up by a malfunction in a test they said had been rectified.

Well, literally hours after things got the go-ahead, they've shut it down again...this time because of a malfunctioning alarm (a different malfunction to the initial one).

The folks at TEPCO would be well aware of people's concerns about the restart, and there have been protests in Niigata City (and probably other places, too). You would think that they'd make sure everything was 110% above board before restarting...and all this does is make people more fearful, in my opinion.
