They’re not playing around anymore!

We may have had a bit of a false start when it comes to snow recently - we had some of it fall and stick, but then the subsequent days were warm enough that it all melted away. Well, this week we have snow forecast for Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday so it seems like the local residents and the city are taking this as the "real" start of snow season and preparing accordingly. We were out walking yesterday when we noticed these poles scattered around the streets surrounding our house, to mark out the areas that need to be ploughed. For reference my husband is 6ft exactly, which instills a little fear in us when it comes to the amount of snowfall we should be expecting!
