This is a really fun ice cream for anyone who likes mixed-in textures in their icy treats of choice. The base ice cream is mascarpone flavored, and there's also an espresso-flavored coffee sauce, cocoa-flavored fiantine (crispy baked crepe dough), and chocolate cookie crumbles to finish everything off with. It's a lot going on, but everything works together really well for a delicious finished product. It definitely comes across as a premium-yet-accessible ice cream. I appreciate that I can get an ice cream that feels fancy from my local convenience store!

As I mentioned above, this ice cream definitely comes across as a premium product -- but it also comes with what I'd call a premium price tag. At 351 yen including tax it's definitely not cheap, and although I thoroughly enjoyed this from start to finish, I don't think I'd purchase it again and that's based on the price alone. In saying that, it's absolutely worth trying at least once if you are a tiramisu fan and you're looking for an indulgent-tasting sweet treat. I got mine from 7-11, but I assume you could probably find it at other convenience stores, too. Hope you enjoy it if you do end up giving it a try!
