If you're after a new sandwich option to try, this Cuban sandwich with spicy pork is available at 7-11 stores for a limited time. It consists of pulled pork, cheese sauce, and salsa, and while that's not a true, authentic Cuban sandwich, it still has a flavor combination that works quite well together. The bread is a baguette style roll, and it has a nice outer crunch to it without being jaw-breaking. Price-wise, I feel like it's fairly decent at just under 400 yen, especially given how filling it is.

If you are looking for a true Cuban sandwich (pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, mustard), then this isn't it. I think it's important to know that ahead of time for expectation management purposes! It's still yummy, just not that authentic. Also, I didn't think it was that spicy, even though it markets itself as a spicy pork sandwich. Again, good to know to manage your expectations. Overall though, I liked it, just probably wouldn't market it as a Cuban sandwich. Keep an eye out for it at your nearest 7-11 store if it sounds appealing to you.
