Where are you headed for winter?

I saw a press release from Agoda (the travel company) today, which covered travel trends they're seeing for winter. Tokyo and Osaka were first and second (no great surprises there), and they were followed by Fukuoka, Sapporo, and Okinawa. 

I think Okinawa in particular is a really nice place to visit in the colder months, because it really does offer a bit of reprieve if you live in a prefecture that is nothing but ice and snow for several months from now. My family and I visited one year in February, and the weather was very pleasant. Not swimming weather (unless you're equipped with a wetsuit or just don't mind cold water), but lovely for sightseeing.
