Only in Japan: kochia with eyes

There's lots to enjoy during the autumn months when it comes to flowers and plants, and kochia are one of my favorites. They're a little underrated when you compare them to changing leaves and some other seasonal flowers, but I just love the storybook look that they have to them. My husband and I often remark that they look like something out of a Dr. Seuss book, and in our local area it seems like some people have also felt the same way.

I thought these were so cute! Makes me wish I had a garden area to grow and decorate some kochia myself.
