Sleeping with socks on

It's reached the time of year where I feel like I have to go to bed with socks on just so my feet don't feel cold. I've mentioned a few times here about the lack of insulation in a lot of Japanese homes (and I'm sure many of you are currently living it), so there are things I do to make life during the chilly months more tolerable. Aside from the warmth benefits of popping on some socks, sleeping with them on has other benefits, too!

According to research, the socks-on approach can help you fall asleep faster by lowering core body temperature and increasing blood flow to your feet.

For anyone living here, where homes can get noticeably cold before the heaters come out in full force, popping a pair of socks on is a small thing that can make bedtime (or even just walking around your house!) a lot more comfortable.

Do you wear socks to bed?
