The color of June is purple

Do you ever find yourself associating colors with different months here? I do, a bit, and especially so with June. I feel like it's such a purple-y time of year, probably in huge part because of the abundance of purple flowers that pop up during this period.

There's an element of mellowness to purple, too, which I think fits nicely with the rainy season. It's not melancholy like blue is, but just feels chill, calm, and relaxed.

On that note of colors being associated with months of the year here, I think July and August are a vivid green, January is white (all the snow), March/April are pink thanks to sakura season and other flowers like azaleas popping up, and November is a combo of red/orange/yellow because of the changing leaves.
