If you like the crispy nature of Florentines and Black Thunder, this limited-time collaboration between the items is available at Family Mart stores. It's quite reasonably priced at 178 yen including tax, and the whole thing is only 175 calories which is pretty low for a chocolatey dessert item, in my opinion. It comes cut into four pieces, which I found convenient from an ease of eating standpoint, and it's also really handy if you plan to share it with others -- I think I would have made a huge mess if I tried to cut it myself, so this was definitely something I appreciated.

If you're expecting more of the trademark almond-y Florentine flavor, I'd say that it's a bit disappointing in that sense -- it's definitely dominated by the cocoa/chocolate flavors of the Black Thunder component. For some, though, that might actually be a positive! Overall, though, I'd still say it's worth trying if you already enjoy Black Thunder and you appreciate desserts with a crispy, crunchy texture to them. I'm not sure how much longer this will be on Family Mart's shelves for, so if it sounds good to you I'd recommend checking at your local store as soon as possible. Happy snacking, and enjoy!
