My daughter is a big fan of all things Sanrio, particularly Kuromi, so when we saw this new McFlurry was coming out this week I knew she'd want to try it! Before even trying the McFlurry, the cup itself is super cute and has illustrations of both My Melody and Kuromi on it. The McFlurry has your standard soft serve ice cream along with blueberry sauce, yogurt-flavored sauce, and chocolate cookie pieces, so there's quite a bit going on with it both in terms of flavor and texture. If you like the combo of chocolate and fruity flavors, you'll enjoy this one. The color is so fun, too -- loved the purplish hue!

I know that there's quite a bit of debate when it comes to fruit and chocolate flavors mixed together. Some folks seem to love it, and others despise it, without a lot of middle ground in between. If you're not a fruity-and-chocolatey fan then I would recommend steering clear of this one, as the blueberry flavor is fairly pronounced. Overall though, I think this is fun if you like the flavor combo, and also fun if you're a Sanrio fan -- the cup itself does add to the cuteness and purchasing appeal of this McFlurry. It only came out this week but I'm not sure how long it'll be available for, so head in to your nearest McDonalds if it's a must-try for you. Happy eating!
