If there's one thing I look forward to each summer here, it's the emergence of all things chocolate mint. Coco's Restaurant are on the ball early with the seasonal flavor, and their chocolate mint fair has a variety of yummy goodies to choose from, including this Chocomint Party Gateau Chocolat. I feel like it does *look* very party-ish, and it consists of a slice of gateau chocolat, topped with chocolate mint ice cream, whipped cream, and a syrup-soaked cherry for good measure. There's also both chocolate and mint flavored sauces drizzles on there, plus some sprinkles which add a nice bit of color and fun.

One key downside is obviously the limited-time nature of all things chocolate mint -- it's very much a summertime thing. I don't exactly know how long the chocolate mint fair is running for, but I would recommend heading in to your nearest Coco's Restaurant sooner rather than later if you want to give it a go. Along with this gateau chocolat, they also have a few other chocolate mint goodies on their fair menu, including a choc-mint frappe, parfaits, and even good old chocolate mint ice cream on its own if you're just craving something simple.
