Hot today, hotter tomorrow here in Niigata
It's 32°C here in Minamiuonuma today, and it already feels pretty darn miserable. Tomorrow though is set to be even hotter, with estimated temps of 37°C in Nagaoka, while Niigata City and Joetsu could reach 36°C. Even typically cooler areas like Yuzawa are forecast to hit 35°C, which shows just how bad things are getting!
All these beautiful flowers will no doubt be wilting!!
There has been some good content here on City-Cost recently about different cooling items from BigFamJapan, and I definitely think if you're new to Japanese summers it's well worth exploring some of those options. They can help the season not feel so stifling!
Be sure to stay hydrated, and indoors in A/C if you have that available to you!

@BigfamJapan the usual sauna summertime! I don't like it but I do feel there are ways to at least make it feel more manageable!
