If you like donuts that emulate other desserts, then I would absolutely recommend this sweet potato crème brûlée donut to you! It consists of a fluffy sweet potato dough, which is topped with a custardy filling and a crispy crème brûlée piece. It looks impressive before you even bite into it, so it gets some points for presentation! Taste-wise, we thought it was nice, too. There's a distinct sweetness because of the crème brûlée topping, and I would say it's the most unique donut in this five donut range. Worth trying if you like donuts with a bit more pizazz to them.

I do feel like the sweet potato flavor of this donut was muted a bit owing to the crème brûlée topping. If you're wanting a donut where the sweet potato flavor is allowed to shine in its own right, then I would suggest going for one of the simpler options. Also, the crème brûlée topping ends up being kinda "stick to your teeth-ish" which can be a touch annoying...I thought so, anyway! It's still tasty, just probably not our favorite of the range, and it's one of the most expensive ones, too!
