This new maple butter pancake pie from McDonalds is a really fun dessert option to check out, and it's inspired by retro kissaten menus. The filling component contains three parts: pancake batter, maple sauce, and a salted butter sauce, so when you bite into it, you really do get the taste of freshly cooked pancakes. The price isn't bad at all IMO at 200 yen, and it's definitely something I would purchase again if it was available and I was craving it. A fun, creative addition to the McDonalds dessert menu lineup!

The biggest downside about this product to me is that it's a limited time only thing! It's really tasty, and the combination of flavors works so well together. I really wish this was something that was on their permanent menu lineup, but alas... If you are a pancake fan or just looking to try a new and inexpensive dessert, I would definitely suggest checking for this at your local McDonalds if you have one.
