Sister cities

I love the concept of sister cities, to promote friendship or trade links between countries. I got curious about it today, and our local area of Minamiuonuma has three sister cities -- Ashburton in New Zealand, Sölden in Austria, and Lillehammer in Norway. I know Lillehammer from when they hosted the Winter Olympics back in 1994, even though I was only a kid at the time.

Additionally, my home city of Melbourne in Australia is sister cities with Osaka!

I think Osaka and my home city of Melbourne in Australia have a bit in common, especially the foodie culture!
