This One Piece starter card deck comes with a good variety of character cards, so it's a nice way to acquaint yourself with the game. It also includes two of the most popular characters in One Piece -- Zoro and Sanji -- so it earns some bonus points for that, too. You can find instructions on how to play the game online in various different languages, so there is a user-friendly element to it. I also really liked that it comes with a play mat to help ease you into the game and make sure you have everything set up properly.

This is still a fairly complicated card game, and because of that it probably isn't the best for younger kids -- it definitely requires some walking through, so just keep that in mind. Also, it is just a starter deck, so people who really want to get into the game and make their deck stronger will need to purchase additional card packs -- and obviously that's an additional expense! Overall though it's a good starting point and it's not too expensive, either. The normal retail price was listed on Amazon as 1200 yen, but it was on sale for 850 yen, so I think it was not a bad deal.
