The good
If you're a cheesecake fan and you already love Beard Papa cream puffs, I would highly recommend this new baked cheesecake cream puff option to you! As the name suggests, it's cheesecake inside the usual choux pastry, and it has a lovely golden brown baked finish on the top. I feel like the price is pretty reasonable for what you get, considering a slice of cheesecake at a cafe would set you back around 500 yen or so. Because of that, this feels like a good deal. The portion size is very decent, too.
The not so good
The biggest downside of this product doesn't really relate to the product itself, but more so the fact that it's a limited time only option. They started selling it at the beginning of this month, and I checked on their website and it'll be on sale until November 17th. That's a decent amount of time for a seasonal offering, but once it's gone it's gone...with no guarantees it will ever return to their menu! If it sounds like a must-try item to you, be sure to head into your nearest Beard Papa store while it's around. Happy eating, and enjoy! :)
