An option for plant-based eaters at Tully's

My sister and brother in law are vegan, and I remember just several years ago that it was a bit tricky for them finding foods to eat when they'd visit us here in the countryside. Obviously there are some things that are naturally plant-based, but a lot of pre-made foods have dairy (especially bread products), dashi, and so forth that make them not suitable.

I have been really encouraged to see the growth of plant-based eating options explode over recent years, and on a recent trip to Tully's I saw this plant-based oimo cream bun available to purchase. It's a bit more expensive than what I'd expect if it was sold at a convenience store, but I think it's great that vegans have the opportunity to enjoy a seasonal treat in a mainstream way. I'd be curious to know how it tastes if anyone gives it a try!

Have you seen any other plant-based sweets this autumn?
