The description
This product is a bottle of Joy W Disinfecting Dishwashing Detergent, and I ordered it from Amazon Japan although it's available at just about every supermarket I shop at, too. It was 188 yen.
The good
We usually buy the orange/citrus Joy dishwashing detergent, but I bought this one on a whim recently and found it to be good as well. It's inexpensive at only 188 yen for the bottle, and part of what makes it convenient to use is the actual bottle design itself. It's an upside down bottle, but it's designed in such a way that the contents don't drip out. It also means you can use every last bit of its contents, so it's really handy in that sense, too. I appreciate things where there is no waste associated! You can also buy refill bags in the future once you have a bottle, which ends up being a bit more cost effective overall.
The not so good
The upside down bottle format does take a bit of getting used to if you've been using a typical upright bottle in the past. My husband actually isn't the biggest fan of these upside down bottles! Also, the formulation itself is a bit thinner than some other dishwashing liquids I've used. You do have to be careful not to squeeze the bottle with too much vigor, otherwise you end up wasting a bit of the product. As long as you're mindful of it, though, you shouldn't have any issues. It's a widely available product, too, so it's not difficult to source.
