The good
The folks at St. Marc Cafe typically offer quite a few variations on their classic Chococro product throughout the year, and right now this Ichigo Chococro has graced their menu! The actual croissant dough for this one is strawberry-flavored, and it comes filled with chocolate containing bits of strawberries along with a cream filling. I feel like it feels both fresh and indulgent, so it's a nicely balanced sweet treat. The paper packaging it comes in is rather cute, too, with a bunch of strawberries printed on it.
The not so good
I do feel that the price is probably a bit high for what you get, particularly if you compare it to a convenience store sweet treat. In saying that, I'm fairly confident that what you get here is fresher than a convenience store sweet, so that's a plus! Overall, I would say this is a worthwhile purchase if you already like the Chococro product, and particularly if you like the combination of chocolate and strawberry flavors. I'm not sure how long this will be around for (a couple of weeks, maybe?!) so head in to your nearest St. Marc Cafe if it sounds like a must-try item to you. Happy eating! :)
