The description
These products are new washi tape options that I found at Daiso recently. Two have a Mount Fuji design, one has a snowflake pattern, and one has a fireworks theme with various good luck charms on it.
The good
These are some new washi tapes that I found at Daiso recently, and the Mount Fuji ones in particular are fun ones to mail to Japan-loving family or friends back home. One has a more dreamy pink clouds colorway to it, and the other one has what I'd call a traditional looking Fuji depicted on it. The snowflake one will be fun for my scrapbooking of winter events and activities that my family and I will take part in over the coming months, and the good luck charms one has designs of things like akabeko and hagoita paddles. I often find myself adding washi tapes to my basket any time I visit Daiso because it's hard to beat the price and I can use them in a wide variety of ways, from wrapping presents to decorating planners and scrapbooking pages.
The not so good
Some of these tapes are probably more useful than others -- I think the Mount Fuji ones are quintessentially Japanese, and the snowflake one can be used for decorating anything wintery themed, but the good luck charms one is a bit more niche. I think it'd be good for wrapping gifts for anyone needing a bit of extra luck (e.g. students undertaking exams), but that one will probably be used less frequently than the others for me. Overall though, can't beat the price, and the designs are fun. They're an easy and cost effective way for jazzing up a variety of things!
