Another fantastic exhibition to beat the heat in Niigata

Last week I blogged about an exhibition called the 400 Years of Western Paintings exhibition (which includes Monet!) happening at the Niigata Prefectural Museum of Modern Art. It's not the only top notch exhibition happening right now, with another fantastic one worth checking out is the Yumeji Takehisa event at the Niigata City Art Museum.

It's running until August 30th, and if you have any interest in Japanese art I think it's well worth checking out. He was known for the bijin-ga (beautiful women) style of art, and there are lots of stunning pieces on display. Adult admission is 1500 yen.
