Sports Day Participation Prize

 This year sports day was canceled and turned into a weeklong event that none of the parents got to see. However, the students still got to happily enjoy the sports day events.  At the end of the week my son came home with his prize for having participated. Every year after the event, the kindergarten hands out prizes to the students. 

This year’s prize was a bag of treats that included apple juice and two salty snacks as well as a bag of useful toys. There was a plastic pair of scissors perfect for practicing his motor skills and a book with little foam characters use to balance to again practice those motor skills.

How fitting for sports day prize which focuses on learning how to use your body and build up those motor skills. 

The book that came with the phone characters had different challenges going from easy to hard. Unfortunately my son didn’t have much interest in it because all he wanted to do was devour the snacks that he got. But maybe we will make a fun little activity and challenge each other to stack these little foam characters.
