Christmas party at the jidoikan

The local children's play house had a Christmas party for the students who go there after school. My children and I were also invited, so we went to see what it was like. It was nice, but perhaps not for a2 year old. There was a candle light service and some of the students sang, then everyone returned the candles, both real and fake and the band played a number of Christmas songs. I'm pretty sure the band was the nearby high school brass band. Then there was a trivia game and finally, my son's favorite part, Santa. Everyone received a small gift, cards and a snack. All in all,I had fun even if Jake just wanted to run around the whole time.
