Corn on the cob

That piece of corn looks rather tasty, right? 
Other than my four-year-old, and one of my closest friends, who doesn't love a good cob of corn grilled on a pit outside and shared with family. 

Well, during our prep for having a barbeque in our front yard my daughter just really had a hankering to have corn with our 5000 yen worth of meat. However, we had just finished bringing the groceries into the house and didn't have any cobs of corn for her to indulge. That's when I remembered I had seen this beauty at Daiso.

Shrink wrapped corn on the cob. I have wanted to try it since the first time I saw it a few years ago. 

So, how does it taste? Not bad, if you like canned corn. It tasted just like canned corn that you eat off the cob. Very weird, but pretty good. I still prefer fresh, but hey fresh off the grill was good enough.
