How to clean your room in Japan?
It is very confusing how to clean a Japanese room. Many of the foreigners have the same experience while they want to live in a "Tatami" house for the first time. Here is the tips for cleaning for the Japanese room effectively:1. Tatami room:
a. At first use the vacuum cleaner to clean the main floor area of the room.
b. Then wipe the floor with a wet towel.
c. Spray the insect killer at the joint of the Tatami to kill the dust mite.
d. Clean the every corner of the room with the wet tissue (medicated).
e. Open the window and door to circulate the fresh air every day 2 or 3 times.
f. If the humidity is too high then use the fan to dry the room.

It seems like mold is a common problem in Japan, do you have any tips for that?

@KevinC To remove mold, use the vacuum cleaner every week. Its not a good way to use any chemicals.
