(1) The 29th Hodogaya International Festa

Come enjoy this annual festa with food vendors from around the world, music and dance, Japanese speech contest, photo studio and much more.

Fee: Free admission

(2) Japanese Classes

Date&Time: Thursday class: 18:30-20:00, Friday class: 10:30-12:00, and Saturday class: 13:30-15:00 between Nov. 8 and Dec. 1. *Nov. 9 and 10: The location is at Hodogaya Chiku (community) Center. *No class on Nov.23

Eligibility: Non-Japanese

(3) Children’s Study meet-up

Let’s study get together with teachers and volunteers.

Eligibility: Elementary and Jr. high school children whose mother tongues are not Japanese

Date&Time: Nov. 17, 24, and Dec.1 (Sat); 10:00-12:00

Fee: Free

(4) International Mothers’Gathering (Piccolo)

Date&Time: Nov.13 and 20, and Dec. 4 (Tue); 10:30-11:30 *Christmas Party is on Dec. 4.

Fee: Free

Eligibility: The Lounge asks Japanese mothers to call in advance. Non-Japanese mothers can come to the Lounge directly.

Location for all events: Hodogaya International Lounge Iwama Shimin Plaza (3 min walk from Tenno-cho Stn on the Sotetsu Line)
