For work and weekend trips, I've relied on a large zippered tote for years, but it's started to show wear. So I took a gamble on an Amazon Japan seller, Arialk, which carries tote bags, backpacks, and shoulder bags. This item is labeled as an A4 size tote bag. It's made of heavyweight black canvas. The dimensions are 34 x 32 x 17 cm. The bag has two small outside drop pockets, perfect for a lanyard and name tag, and spare pens. Inside, there is a large drop pocket, too. The top of the bag has a zip, perfect for holding a power cable.

I'm pleased with this bag and was surprised at how sturdy and well-designed it is. I have no complaints. The product description says "A4 size", so I was a bit worried it might be too tight for my purposes. I use it as a work tote bag to carry A4 size files and my laptop. It's big enough that I can fit a few files, the laptop, and sundries. The inside drop pocket holds the power cable. There is even a nylon cord with a key fob (great for workplace keys). It's plain but simple and black, which makes it unobstrusive. I hang a stylish keyholder on it to make it mine.
