Drying laundry - how hot is this?
I've been living in Japan off and on for nearly 20 years, and modern conveniences here never cease to amaze me.
And I wonder how I did without this marvel - a bathroom fan that dries!
I've lived in retro apartments, 4LDK houses, great places. But this is the first time I've lived in a relatively new apartment with a 24 hour bath fan.
Daikichi, my man, showed me that the 暖房 danbo setting isn't just meant for warming you up in the winter. It dries the laundry. The fan in my bath sets to maximum 1 hour for drying laundry.
The dryer is pretty powerful. Even towels and bath mats are dry in two hours.
How did I survive without this for all these years?

this was the marvel in our new house too! It is amazing compared to the broken vent we had.

@edthethe you’ve got this mod con, too? I have only ever dried my laundry outside on sunny days, and over a dehumdier on rainy days. The bath fan dries laundry much faster than the dehumidifier. My life is forever changed!
