Accidental premium seat on the Revaty

The other morning, I was in a rush to check my connections from Chiba to Tochigi on the Tobu Railway. And I made an amusing but enriching mistake!

The Limited Express Revaty used to pass through my suburban station in Noda City. The premier rides started at Asakusa, passed through Noda City and continued to Kinugawa, Nikko, and Aizu. It was a marvel to see the sleek three-car formation pass through our sleepy bedroom community. I wondered if I would have a chance to ride it...

I got a little behind in my preparations for my day trip. So in a hurry, I checked Google Maps and discovered a fast connection between Kasukabe and Kuki Stations. But oh, dear, I missed something essential - the premium Revaty ride. I didn't want to miss my connections, so I ponied up the 550 yen for the reserved seat. The cool part is that passengers can get tickets on the platform vending machines.

I got a luxurious trip with a window seat for just a few minutes, one station away. The Revaty train's plush seats recline and have power points for plugging in your devices. Even better, the smooth, quiet three-car trains have WIFI.

Next time I visit deep into southern Tohoku, I'll splurge on the Revaty.

Lucky! Your review on Sano PA reminded me that I never updated about the rabbits being removed - thanks for the reminder.
